WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
When WHOOP presents health information that is difficult to understand, members feel overwhelmed when the app lacks actionable steps that members can take to change their own health outcomes.
WHAT IS THE HYPOTHESIS?
We believe: When Members are presented with biological indices of health with a lack of actionable steps, Members feel helpless about their condition and feel overwhelmed, resulting in poor app satisfaction
"In some ways, it's just too much for my needs. I'm probably a pretty average user: I jog, I go on walks, I cycle. I do my best to get decent sleep and move around while mostly stuck inside my home. The Whoop Strap 3.0 basically wrote a thesis about my body. For the more casual user, it might be information overload."
How might we help Members better utilize WHOOP's biological indices of health with more confidence in order to empower Members to unlock their greatest potential to elevate app experience?
Monitor your heart rate 24/7 with insight into how strenuous your activities are to suggest activities best suited for you.
LIGHT STRAIN (0-9)
BASED ON YOUR
Strain is a true measure of how much stress you're putting on your body, both mentally and physically.
This level of exertion indicates room for active recovery with minimal stress being put on the body.
MODERATE STRAIN (10-13)
This range indicates moderate stress is being put on the body which helps maintain fitness.
HIGH STRAIN (14-17)
This level of exertion indicates increased stress and/ or activity which can help build fitness gains in your training.

Based on robust biological indicators of your exertion and activity level, WHOOP FIT suggests activities to facilitate recovery while helping you reach target exertion goals.
A restorative activity that enhances attention, alleviates stress, increases concentration, and recalibrates your awareness back to the present.
People do indeed have an inner potential that can be tapped to function at their highest level, but sometimes actions to uncover untapped potential, as simple as asking ourselves to breathe, can be easily overlooked. How might we not commit the aforementioned mistake and further demystify secrets our body is trying to tell us?
